Mo’s Indianapolis Now Locally Owned
Former Partner Pledges Continued Outstanding Service and Cuisine
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Local residents and Downtown visitors choose Mo’s, A Place for Steaks, for its meticulous presentation, classic ambiance, customized service and, of course, its prime selections. That culinary experience which gained Mo’s a loyal following won’t be changing, but the ownership has.
Jeremiah Hamman, 34, former managing partner of Mo’s since its inception, recently bought the restaurant. Hamman is committed to making sure Mo’s stays true to Indianapolis and its loyal guests.
“Our long-time patrons will receive the same personalized service that made them feel like part of our family,” states Hamman. “I’m really proud of what we’ve done so far and am excited about the future of Mo’s.”
Hamman’s rise to his position as a restaurateur has been quick and impressive. He entered the industry as a server at Morton’s of Chicago in 1999. Within two years he was the general manager at the Indianapolis location.
Mo’s opened its Indianapolis doors in August 2003 and Hamman joined John Vassallo as managing partner of the downtown restaurant. Hamman has been the driving force behind Mo’s success ever since.
The award-winning restaurant quickly proved to be a hit in Indianapolis, earning local and national recognition. Indianapolis Monthly named Mo’s as the Critic’s Choice Best Restaurant. Wine Spectator has also cited Mo’s as exceptional, naming it as “One of the Best Restaurants in the World for Wine Lovers.”
Despite the accolades the restaurant hasn’t lost its personal touch. The walls of the restaurant are covered with framed photos of customers having a great time. The fact that Mo’s is now 100 percent locally owned and operated is sure to only increase the restaurant’s customer-driven attitude.
“We want to get to know our customers and their preferences,” Hamman said. “People come here because they know they will have a customized dining experience and be treated like they’re the most important people in the restaurant.”
